Came home from my Saturday morning ride yesterday to find that le tour started (sooner than normal due to the Olympics) and it was a road race versus the normal prologue. There were a few possible podium riders that lost substantial time due to a couple of huge crashes. The top 4 potential winners Pogacar, Roglic, Thomas and Carapaz all survived unscathed but others were not so lucky. Who do you have winning this year? I’ll go with Pogacar but could see any three of those on the podium in Paris. Don’t sleep on Alaphilippe as he is in top form and could stay in yellow for an extended time if not to the end.
