By any measure we have been VERY LUCKY to win 5 games this year. A missed extra point by APP State and a recovered fumble in the end zone enabled that Win. A Hale Mary after a Georgia celebration penalty that gave us that opportunity enabled yesterday's victory. Additionally we were fortunate beyond imagination statistically to recover 12 of our own first 13 fumbles and although we did force some of VA Tech's 5 fumbles 2-3 were unforced gifts. By all rights we should be 3-2 and could actually be worse. There isn't a more optimistic homer on the board than me. But if we aren't prepared and ready to play from the first play in College Station Saturday we are going to get hammered. Still think we can come in ready to play and win this game but it's NOT going to happen unless we play MUCH differently in the first quarter than we have played in every one of our first 5 games.
Unless We Can Change Our MO This Week It Likely Will Get Ugly
