There are countless articles being written, comments being made about how this Nashville game is just a really bad deal, etc. Really?! If the worst thing about playing a game is being on the road, in your own f'n home state/State Capital, in front of 60k+ who by the way are mostly your fans, thats no more than 2.5-3hrs from your home turf, in a game you are all but assured on winning.... Give me a break. When did some of our fan base - the old go anywhere, play anybody anytime anyplace turn into a bunch of whining b>>>>es?
I think some of this fan base came on board during the 90s, and didnt have to live thru part of the 80s. It took Majors as the returning son of TN, coming off a Natty, YEARS to get us back to relevency. YEARS! Lean years and lean times happen in the cycle. Tennessee football is back - like it/hedge it or not... We will be an 9-10 win team here in short order... hopefully in the mix for the SECC/NC. What CBJ and staff is unbelievable.
How soon folks forget. We just had that fool Dooley with his stupida___ orange pants/orange dog pacing the sidelines a few years ago, destroying our program, his momma calling in to talk shows embarrassing the hell out of her son/our program, and barely getting us to 6 wins. Now, CBJ brings this b---- back and takes the show on the road in BNA - brings in a top 5 recruiting class, and is about to pull another --- and sets this thing up to win no less than 7, to go bowling in at least a midtier/major venue, ...and people want to complain? Gimme a break.
