My mama had a heart attack, and she’s stable now (still in icu at Williamson) but it honestly has scared the shit out of me, because, like, there’s no way my mom’s not invincible... right?? I know, I know, no one is immortal, but shit, it’s always felt like it with her, ya know? I’m old enough to understand that these things happen, but I’m way too young to lose my mama yet, so y’all please ask whatever God you believe in to let her stick around on this earth a little while longer. Thanks so much.
UPDATE: Mom had a 98% blockage in one artery and 70% in another. That 2% that wasn’t blocked kept her from going into cardiac arrest, thank the heavens! She had a stent put in at Williamson for the 98%er and is going to Vanderbilt in a couple days to have a stent put in for the 70%er. But she’s being released today! Getting ready to go pick her up! She’s gonna be upset with me because I’m making her a heart-healthy meal instead of the cheeseburger that I know she wants lolol. Gonna be some lifestyle changes going on at Mama Gringo’s house! Thanks again for all the prayers, positive vibes and well-wishes! I really love you all and this thread was just further proof there is no better fan base in America. I’m truly humbled at the way y’all have lifted me and my family up. I’ll continue to update y’all over the next couple days.
