Kansas will be absolutely loaded next year BUT Newman was going to be in the running for Pre-Season National POY.
As incredible as Graham was it was Newman who carried them to the Big12 tourney championship and the final 4. He averaged about 25 in 8 tournemant games for Kansas.
Kansas loses their 3 best players from last year.
They will add big time transfers in Charlie Moore, Sam Cunliffe, Lawson brothers and get a full year of De Sousa.
Still have a returning core of Uzubuick, Vick, Lightfoot and Garrett.
Then add at least 2 5 Stars and are trying for a 3rd in Langford (need to keep him away from Vandy).
So they will be absolutely loaded and probably the pre season National Title pick but losing Newman hurts and is good for the Vols for our Thanksgiving Tourney because he was going to be as dynamic as any guard in the country.
