I hated Ali, when I was a kid, to only come to respect his ability and accomplishments as a an adult. One of the biggest highlights of the Atlanta Olympics was seeing him light the torch.
There was more powerful fighters, but no other heavyweight had his speed, quickness or and combination of all of those with power. He was a once in a millennium boxer. Of course, boxing was killed off by the Don Kings of the sport. I don't watch the ultimate fighting crap that is forced down our throats these days. I miss the old Marquis of Queensbury rules pugilists.
