Following Tennessee's success in the transfer portal, ESPN's Joe Lunardi has released an updated Way-Too-Early Bracketology for the 2024 season.
Currently, Tennessee sits as a 2-seed in the East region. They'd face Colgate in Charlotte.
Waiting for the Vols in the next round would be either 7-Xavier or 10-Memphis. Other top seeds are 1-Duke, 3-Purdue, 4-San Diego State and 5-Crieghton.
Of course, these projections don't mean much, but the national media is high on Tennessee at this point in the off-season.

The SEC schools -- particularly Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee -- are hitting the portal hard. Throw in Texas A&M and the conference is well represented at the top of the bracket.
