The Tennessee Select 7-on-7 team features the best talent in the Volunteer State on a yearly basis and the 2017 edition is likely to be no different. On Saturday some of the state’s top talent gathered to try out for the squad. Here are the five most impressive performances from the event.
Alontae Taylor
Recruiting Wrap: Taylor is committed to Tennessee.
Performance: Taylor has worked out at several different positions at camps during his high school career, including defensive back, quarterback and wide receiver. He played the latter at Saturday’s event and impressed with his physicality and ability to make tough catches. He could still play another position in college, but as explosive as he is with the ball in his hands he has a very high ceiling at wide receiver.
