I went to Oxford this past weekend to see their Saturday game vs Miss St. My wife is an alum from there and I have been to several baseball games over the last 7-8 years with her family. As much as I do not like to admit it, it is a shame that Tennessee cant get their baseball atmosphere to somewhat reflect theirs and many others. They are a lot of fun, they do it right.
I've not been to many college baseball venues but I can say as I attended a few baseball games in college it was nothing noteworthy to write home about unlike some others in our conference. For reference, I was in school from 2004-2008 and often forget the Vols were in the CWS in 2005.

I know the VQ crew doesnt do much with baseball coverage and this isnt a thread where I'm asking for it but curious on your take. What gives? We can obviously point to frustrating lackluster performances but if Lindsey Nelson Stadium had a similar atmosphere, tailgate, etc I have no doubt the big orange faithful would pack that place.
(This was in another thread I posted about MLB apps fwiw)
