Can someone explain why black has become such a desired color for everything from sports uniforms (even for teams whose colors do not include black), cars, trucks, you name it. I have never wanted a black car. In my day, black cars were law enforcement, maybe undercover. A white car reflects the sunlight and heat much better. A black car shows dirt and dust as bad or worse than a white car. Please no race stuff. That is not my point. I just don't understand this trend. Maybe someone on this board can explain it to me.
