I thought NIL might help us compete in recruiting against the big boys because we could get people to come because of money vs winning. But looks like we aren’t even in the same ball park let alone playing the same game.

It is helping teams like Texas and Aggies who really haven’t accomplished anything especially Texas terrible year but landed good classes because of NIL. Thought we could of been like them but I guess our donor pool isn’t as strong as I thought.

I’m getting more calloused watching college football. I believe we will be a 6-6 or 7-5 team next year again. I was hoping with our successful season we could take a step forward. But we have fallen farther behind and it’s not because we are doing terrible it’s just that the teams we were behind are just taking larger steps forward. We aren’t gaining ground. I’m not sure the days of old of winning cures all is true anymore. Because Texas was abysmal and we showed amazing potential and doesn’t matter. They are going to have to increase the playoff greatly because The sport is going to lose more and more popularity with no parity.

Not fun to watch or keep up with anymore when results are mostly the same.
