What a difference from 1 year ago. Last year Jeremy Pruitt had recruiting violations and UT lost a lot of recruits and had players hit the transfer portal. Nearly 40 players hit the transfer portal. Football season starts and UT has a much better season than expected. It is obvious that Josh Heupel and his staff can coach.
A month ago Tennessee was ranked nearly 40th in recruiting. The State of Tennessee had a great crop of recruits but only 2 instate kids sign with Tennessee. Schools like Ohio State,Alabama,Georgia,Michigan,Kentucky,Texas A&M and Ole Miss get players from Tennessee. Today on National Signing Day Tennessee gets 4 4 Star recruits to sign with the other 3 they had committed. Right now Tennessee's recruiting class is ranked 10th in the country. People said Josh Heupel can coach but can he recruit? He proved today that he and his staff can recruit. I also have a feeling that this will be his worst recruiting class. I have a feeling Josh Heupel will reel in great recruiting classes from here on out. I am fired up about Tennessee Football.
