I am a disabled veteran and went into my local VA to file some appeals and things unneeded to get done. I am 10% disabled for hearing loss in my right ear. (I was a gunner in Iraq. So no bullshit claim) They have continually denied me for my left ear. Today I went to put in a appeal and my rep said, we can do a video appeal that is 4-6 year wait or we can do a board appeal a 2-4 year wait. I said do what? My jaw hit the floor your kidding me right. No sir I'm not. While my stuff is minor compared to some of our Vietnam Veterans that just seems silly. She said she has a veteran with agent orange exposure that has cancer and they are literally hoping he will die instead of paying him what he has rightly earned. I am still pissed about this. Is this what our country does for our great veterans? Make them wait 4 years? I've had a decent experience up until now.
