I think this is going to be a very interesting transformation to watch happen across America. There are going to be a lot of empty units over the coming years... what goes in them? Is there a residential housing play here?
For the most part there is a ton of open space that can be easily transformed. Lots of roof space for a “sustainable” energy building. Parking lots could have buildings built in the center of them to create great multi-use living space with offices, coffee shops, bars, pizzeria, workout facility, etc...
I’m really intrigued by the Amazon-Effect on all this real estate. Too many of them and too much money invested for them to just sit there. Any other ideas on how these spaces will transform to fit the new, online world?
