For me, I remember as a kid 5-8 years old playing little league football on Saturdays, the PA announcer would play the radio broadcasts of Vol games during warmups/timeouts. I can still hear people cheering during our warmups as Ward would make a touchdown call.

First game I can ever remember seeing on TV was Peytons last one against Nebraska in the Orange Bowl.

One of my favorite memories was the ‘98 opening game against Syracuse. I was 10 years old. I was sitting in my dads recliner, he was on the couch, as we were lining up to attempt that GW FG. Right before the ball was snapped I put my hand over my face because I was too nervous to watch, right as Hall went to kick it I peeked through my fingers to see it go through the up rights. As the team was celebrating I looked at my dad & said “daddy, you think we can win the National Championship this year?”, he looks at me & says “not if we play like that we won’t”.
