On November the 12th my grandmother would have been there 15 years. My grandfather has been sick off and on for about a year and died 3 months ago. She had so much time and vacation saved up that she was able to use most of that while he was sick. She did take FMLA when he died. They fired her yesterday just a few months short of her 15 years, never been wrote up and never been in trouble, after all she did for them they just took a big giant crap on her. My grandfather left her with a ton of bills and now I'm worried about her health because she's stressing out. What a terrible thing to do to someone. She just went to the manager to try and find out what time she was taking lunch and instead of just getting a wrote up they fired her because they said she was talking and not working. Not even a write-up not even a warning. Just terrible business practice. Unfortunately they are big enough nothing could ever be done about it.
