1) Heupel is absolutely going all out to recruit Ty Simpson. Emptying the tank to build a relationship knowing that Ty truly wants to come to Tennessee all things being equal. That is all he can do.

2) His staff is pretty much done (pushes back on the agenda he doesn't know what he is doing)

My personal take is I love he is taking his time. At the end of the day it really doesn't matter if he is staff was done in 4 days or 14 days. Either way he has a full year to recruit these guys.

DC is his most important hire and it has to work. The best names don't always fit (Bob Shoop) and some a total disaster (Sunseri). I love he is taking his time and trying to go for a good marriage as a staff. After watching the disfunction that was Jeremy Pruitt and staff this is a good move IMO.

3) Kodi Burns is WR coach and an experienced SEC recruiter, who has feathers in his cap at WR, already has his list of instate playmakers.

4) Heupel is making RB a recruiting priority and not going with inexperienced guy in Merritt.

5) Has continued talking with Steele doing due diligence and not rushing the process of what is absolutely his biggest hire.

6) Henry and Crouch are considering. Good.

7) Clear plan instate by this staff and they are targeting them heavy. Unlike Pruitt who all but ignored it.

8) Barnes has seen void in post and have been pushing 5 Star BHH to reclassify. This is a change from previously... This is good.

Good stuff @Brent_Hubbs @Austin_Price @Rob Lewis
