Bama is great. We know it blah blah blah.
But it's really a damn travesty first that Jalen Hurts was First Team All-Sec over Dobbs. He just happens to be backed by, perhaps, the best Defense in the history of the SEC. Went 7 of 14 for 57 yards passing with No TD's, averaged 2.5 yards per carry on the ground in a PLAYOFF GAME and they still won 24-7 with ease.
Dobbs has more passing yards, higher QBR, more TD Passes, and had they not essentially rested him against Tenn Tech (1 carry in that game), he would've had more rushing yards.
Throw this in too, check out the stats that Josh Malone (50 catches, 970 yards, 11 TD's, 19 yards per catch) had over Calvin Ridley 2nd Team All-SEC (66 catches, 727 yards, 7 TD's, 11 yards per catch). Ridley was over Malone of course.
Last one, Jonathan Allen (phenomenal player) was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year. (27 Solo Tackles, 8.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss) over Barnett (40 solo tackles, 13 sacks, 1 INT, 2 forced fumbles, and WHOPPING 19 tackles for loss).
When it comes to Bama, it seems like the fix is always in with the SEC. Happy New Year Guys, here's to hopefully a worse Bama team in 2017 and a better playing field for all of College Football.
