If at the start of this season you had to choose 1 of these 2 options:
1) JG continues to start irregardless of his play and have games like the Indiana game that he struggles, gets benched, has to come back in and Vols somehow barely find ways to win some games...while fans are pulling their hair out.
OR
2) JG plays the worst 4 quarters of play in his career to finally force Pruitt's hand to move on from JG for good with a change to HB, even if he is not ready right now, but is the future.
Those are your only 2 options. Which would you have chosen before week 1?
I would have chosen the 2nd option. Even if it means losing a game the Vols shouldnt, at least we could move on in a season that is not a total throw away, but in the big picture was always going to be a unique year that is different from any year we have ever experienced.
