Oh, my word that statement just infuriates me knowing that most of those folks in B'ham have direct or indirect ties to Bama. Technically, the officiating crew and review crew should have no affiliation with any SEC team (or are not involved when their alma mater is playing).
I have a friend of mine that is a consultant for the SEC (he's an AU grad) and he says that it is not even hidden anymore how many SEC employees pull for Bama. These are not folks in the review center, but still that statement just irks me.
