You know LSU would be up for it and would eagerly mobilize. UF is already there and already prepared all week.

The Gainesville police now know that it will not be doing damage control tomorrow and will have all day to allocate resources (the police desperately want these games to be played as it is great overtime money for the officers). It would only be a crowd of about 65K or so at this point and that isn't so hard to manage.

The rest of the state did not get hit that badly and, thank god, the game would not be played in the backdrop of a lot of storm fatalities or widespread destruction.

Thursday afternoon was not an important practice period. Nothing was lost. This could still be salvaged.
