If he's that well respected why was the athletic and academic disconnect there? Why was there the financial mess? Why was there disastrous coaching hires? Why were useless employees kept around just because they had been there forever or had Tennessee ties? It's hard to believe he didn't have any input in any of that since as Rob said he worked in almost every area during his tenure.
