Win bowl game or "recruiting championship?"

Somebody asked yesterday about choosing between the Barnett sack record or a bowl win...no brainer IMO, win the game!
It's ALL hypothetical (fantasy football), but if we could lose the bowl and have the #1 class would you take it?
