Two things that folks do not realize is the impact Pat had on the Women's Coaches. 1) She learned playing and coaching against some of the best in Women's Basketball. She coached great players who have become coaches and like most great coaches has a growing "Coaching Tree". 2) She fostered the national growth of the sport and with that salaries grew. With the salary increases more former players with potential stayed in the game and became coaches at all levels. These new coaches could get players and develop them. The game grows as the number of talented coaches grows.
