Is it acceptable to have about an inch chip on a new wood floor board? This is supposedly going to be covered up puddy and it's a high visible and high traffic area. They don't want to take up the floor but I am being pretty firm about wanting the board to just be replaced. This would be different if it was in a corner or where some furniture was going to cover it up.
