Curious what everyone thinks. And this question is not about what the jersey and helmets look like of the other team but what players are on the field. Of course it is easy to pick Florida and Bama since we haven't beaten either in a decade but I think in terms of the personnel on the field that Texas A&M is the worst matchup for the Vols. I'm certainly not saying that they are better than Bama or Florida or even Georgia for that matter but here are my reasons:
- Speed and talent off the edge - Garrett and Hall are going to give a lot of people fits and this may be the Vols weak point.
- A mobile QB with arm talent
- Skill position players with the talent to beat what looks like a talented Vol secondary - only Bama comes close at the WR position in talent and Bama doesn't have the depth of talent of A&M
- John Chavis - he's going to be really motivated and he rarely loses when he can make a team one-dimensional as his defensive ends could make UT by completely disrupting the Vol passing game
- Team Speed - Overall talent isn't the same as Bama or Florida but the team speed may be all around better than both and equal to if not better than Tennessee's
