The CARES Act allows for some additional options for emergency distributions from your 401(k) or IRA if you are affected directly by the pandemic. Wouldn’t recommend using these unless absolutely necessary, but thought some would want to know these options are out there. Note: this is an article for 401(k) Plan Sponsors, but it points out some of the important options.
