Shelby county.
I think spread offenses have started to indicate a change in how receivers should be ranked. The "prototypical 6'3''+ receiver" that can also run and catch has been the gold standard.

As such, we've seen teams and the Vols go after the guys that are taller and maybe a little less quick.

But, look at the best receivers in the SEC......Ridley, Callaway, Kirk.........those guys are all 6foot and below.

Just like Peerless Price, Donte Stallworth......if you can run and catch you can star at WR in college. Might lessen your NFL draft status, but not much.

Malone has done fine at his height developing. But look at what Byrd can do after the catch. Jennings is fine, but a deeper threat and a guy like Isiah Ford catches more balls and is harder to cover.

Hopefully, Murphy can be that type of guy. Our Callaway. I just think that we seem to be shifting to the smaller quicker guys instead of feeling like a Marquez North body type that has to be taught the position is going to be better than a Murphy type.
