I hate Burch and he was a terrible coach, but he showed much more progress in Year 3 than Pruitt. And all the key contributors were guys Burch recruited because Dools sucked eggs in recruiting. He had choke jobs against Oklahoma, Florida and Arkansas that cost Tennessee the SEC East. However, his teams were much more competitive. It's a telling sign for Pruitt.
