TCU most likely won’t lose either of the last two. They play Baylor whos 6-4 and Iowa St who’s 4-6. Their strength of schedule for the remaining two games is the same as ours. They’re already ranked ahead of us and the committee isn’t going to drop an undefeated team below us this late in the season if both teams win out. TCU did what they were supposed to do and if no mishaps they’re going. All we had to do was beat Georgia. We didn’t. And so here we are.
Now if you honestly think the committee isn’t capable of screwing us from the playoffs then you’re just a dumbass. We really need Ohio St to beat Michigan. It doesn’t have to be pretty. Just beat them and we move to the 4 spot. But!!! If Michigan beats Ohio St, I totally see Michigan going to #2 and Ohio St falling to 4 and keeping us out. In my opinion there’s no way the committee is going to keep Ohio St out of the playoffs especially if they lose a close game.
Every year besides SEC fans absolutely hate that two SEC teams get into the playoffs. Watch this year the committee keep a 2nd SEC team out. Just because they can. These are human beings making the decisions. And we all know they make dumb decisions.
I personally am not worried about any other scenario especially USC.
