It's like our coaches were already in the elevator on the way down to the locker room. I watched the replay and you have 7 guys within 6 yards of the LOS to start the play. Then you have LBs protecting the underneath route while the QB is rolling out. Then finally you have 4 DBs against 4 WRs on a Hail Mary.
That has to be one of the worst defended Hail Marys in terms of strategy that's ever been. Our coaches were asleep at the wheel.
No, this does not mean I want our coaches fired or that we're going to come close to losing. But I keep seeing people blaming McCollough (who don't get me wrong, I like a good criticism of him) or Flowers. It was awful strategy by our coaches. That's all.
