SEC Freshman of the Week – Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler, a 5-foot-9, 167-pound freshman from Long Island, N.Y., averaged 16.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 steals and converted 6-of-11 of his 3-pointers in wins over Texas A&M and at South Carolina. He scored 14 points, had three assists and two steals in Tennessee’s win over Texas A&M. After being held scoreless in the first half against South Carolina, tied a career-high with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field (4-of-5 from 3) while also dishing out three assists and recording three steals.
