Hated to hear Simmons had a bad spring and Bumphus clearly can't be expected to be counted on. Body just never cooperated.
That group was GASHED in the bowl game. I thought Simmons staying healthy and being back was a x-factor and vital to this defense improving. Sounds like that's unlikely. Realky think we need a quality DT in the portal at this point.
