Brent, please explain why Tennessee is giving BYU anything since they wanted out of the game.

If I understand your writing correctly, BYU didn't want to play 2 SEC opponents and could not or did not want to buy it's way out of a trip to arkansas. Financially, I see the Nashville game as a win for Tennessee, but I'm still not understanding why we owe BYU part of that gate to "buy our way out of a game" that we wanted to play and they opponent did not. On the surface, it would seem that THEY should be paying US.

What am I missing here?
