14 games in 13 days starting tomorrow. We get Chris Sale from the White Sox tomorrow who is an absolutely filthy lefty and then another lefty on Wednesday from them and we know how we struggle with lefties. Get a little breather with the Pasres this weekend at home but then head to Chicago to play 4 games in 3 days and then go straight to Pitt to play 4 in a row heading into the the break.
I had hoped we would get both Holliday and Walden back for that stretch but that doesn't seem realistic at this point. We really need Jamie to not have a serious issue with the groin and be able to pitch during this stretch, especially since Lyons will already be needed for the double header in Chicago.
Would love a 4-2 finish to the home stand and then need to find a way to play .500 ball in our trek thru Chicago and Pitt.
