By fixing her her own little hamburger whenever I'm grilling something. She's still concerned about the grill, which is good, I guess, but wanting that hamburger wins out, and at least she isn't running and hiding every time she sees smoke anymore. Of course, the downside is that I have to keep fixing her hamburgers now
Hopefully she'll still be afraid, but maybe not as afraid as before, of campfires. Nothing like taking your dog out into the woods for the first time and having her run a few hundred yards as soon as you start a fire and having to completely put out the fire and bury it before you can go look for her. Kept her on a leash ever since.
