Move Squirrel to the Outside IMO

1. It’s easier to learn. Gets him on the field faster.

2. We need more speed outside. Already got Hyatt inside. Makes the offense more versatile to have deep speed on the outside as well.

3. He’s 165 pounds soaking wet. Do we really want him going over the middle a ton?

4. not sure why there is a stigma that small guys are better fit for the slot. To me it’s more about skillset. Quick twitch guys who accelerate faster and can get open in tighter spaces by running great routes or bigger/thicker guys who are crafty with their bodies and can take hit over the middle are perfect fits for the slot.

Wes Welker is the perfect example of a small guy perfect for the slot. Jauan Jennings is a perfect example of a bigger guy made for the slot. I see Squirrel as more of a long strider and run by you type of guy than a quick twitch technical route runner who is shaking guys over the middle imo. More in the Desean Jackson mold imo.
