I never thought I’d see the day, when I didn’t live somewhere in the southeast....but it’s official. Once we get my daughter settled at her college (in South Carolina), I’m out.
I’m moving to my gf’s house in Ft Collins (45 minutes north of Denver) and for the first time in three years, I’ll get to see my son whenever I want to. It’s a little scary, but she and I have discussed this for over a year. I decided it was time.
She’s flying in tomorrow, and we’ll pack most of my stuff up. We will run the first load out on Thursday, and I’ll fly back to Louisville on Sunday. Not looking forward to the 17 hr drive, but it’s a good symbol for change.
Chapter Two begins soon....
