a couple atheltic department people were present. I have attended meetings like this for years. It is evident this entire program has different leadership. Not just the team but the entire athletic program. They mean business and they have a direction. In years past they have been disorganized, uncaring and unprepared. Man these guys were on point and passionate.
The small amount of direct athletic talk we had was that this football team and it’s staff mean business. From day one these players were told to buy in or get out. And they have bought in. One of the guys came from Bama, he said Pruitt has literally duplicated the system to the T (pun intended). He said he thought the culture would take years to change but these guys have just flat out bought in. He said when he goes over to the complex it’s business and you can see physical changes in these players weekly.
No direct talk about any players in specific. But man the picture these guys are painting about our future makes me want to put pads on again and get in line.
