As I shared in the Monday Night Chat earlier this week, Tony Vitello met with the media this morning and said that Missouri transfer RHP Seth Halvorsen will likely be available this weekend for the first time all season.
Halvorsen has been sidelined all season with a fractured arm. Had his wisdom teeth pulled recently as well that set him back a week or so.
Halvorsen started on Friday night last season for Missouri before electing to transfer to Tennessee.
High-velocity arm that was expected to be a key piece out of the bullpen for the Vols until his arm snapped while throwing a bullpen over the winter just before the season.
Vitello also shared this morning that Vols utility man Jared Dickey is likely available to play in the field this weekend against Alabama.
Dickey has been battling a deep bone bruise in his foot since the Sunday at Ole Miss.
