Elite in-state 2029 QB with Vols offer leaving the state

Elite 2029 QB Ty Snell, who has the potential to be the number one overall recruit in his class is leaving Lipscomb Academy, his father tells the Tennessean. They are deciding between moving back to Texas or Ty going back to IMG Academy.

What does this mean for Tennessee? They definitely will not stop recruiting him and already offered him after he camped this month, but it does hurt that ideal situation of being able to get him on campus over and over and over and over again. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Recruiting RIVALS FIVE STAR UPDATES

2026 in-state ATH Joel Wyatt has arrived. Down to Vandy and Tennessee. Vols still view him as an OLB/LEO hybrid that can make plays in space. Vandy still recruiting him as a do-it-all defensive piece as more of a S/LB. With Tennessee continuing to make him feel better about the position, I like Tennessee chances more and more. Announcing a commitment on July 6th
