I don’t know about you, but I’m very impressed with the play of our defensive backs midway through the season. They’re not shut down, but this may be the best group of defensive backs, as a whole, that we have had at Tennessee in a long time.

Jermod McCoy, Ricky Gibson, Christian Harrison, Boo Carter, Jalen McMurray, Jakobe Thomas, Andre Turrentine, Will Brooks, Christian Charles, Jordan Matthew’s, Edrees Farooq have all played a lot and have played well.

This is the first time that I remember our defensive backs tackle well and hard and are athletic enough to play mam on an island. All defensive back units are going to give up a big play here and there due to a breakdown in coverage or a QB making perfect throws, and WR making a great catch. However, this unit has played half a season with minimal self-inflicted damage and are playing as well as any defensive backfield in the country.

Now let’s hope they finish the season with fans thinking this same thought.

Bc from when I started watching the offense looked ok.........not great.....but not retarded like last week.

Brazell had 3 bad drops (1 "might" have been on Nico right at the end of regulation- but it hit Both Hands......and he has to come up with those).

Basically from when I started watching, the Offense looked decent.
