Vols make the top six for 2024 guard Bishop Boswell. With Ahmad Nowell trending elsewhere as his recruitment has dragged out, Boswell seems to be the new target for the point guard position in the 2024 class

Apparently it's a year suspension for Pruitt to be hired

2025 TE/DL Lance Jackson, younger brother of Arkansas defensive end Landon Jackson, was trying to make it up to Knoxville this summer but will not be able to make it in. He is now planning on visiting this fall and really wants to get up here. Tennessee is a cool school right now, and a lot of 2025s want to see what is happening here for themselves. Notre Dame/Wisconsin are recruiting Lance at tight end, but most are looking at him as a defensive lineman. His main recruiter right now for Tennessee is Robert Ayers Jr. Won't be easy to pull him away from Arkansas, but a gameday visit this fall would be a good start

Another pair of players have hit the portal out of Tennessee's baseball program.

Junior OF Kyle Booker and freshman INF Jake Kendro are the latest to transfer.

Former Vols outfielder Jordan Beck has been called up to the AA affiliate of the Rockies, the Yard Goats.

He hit 20 home runs in High-A during the first half of the season leading to the move.

Should be teammates with Chase Dollander again very soon.

During the Paul Finebaum show on Friday, Josh Heupel spoke about the recent NCAA violations.

One point he made was that "The hardest thing for our entire staff, it was recruiting. Because it had nothing to do with us who are currently there. People tried to use it against us in recruiting negatively."
