Tennessee takes to Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center at 6:30 p.m. ET on SECN+ to play in its first of two preseason exhibitions.

Carson-Newman is the opposition for the second straight season and for the 18th exhibition between the schools. The Lady Vols are 17-0 in these matches.

I think Simms is a darn good receiver in the 2025 class and I have been really impressed with his development this season. Great looking kid and although he may not be the type to take the top off every play right now... He eats up a lot of turf with each stride and could eventually become that guy. Still pretty raw in terms of his development, but has a very high ceiling.

I met with him at when I was in St. Louis recently. He kept things pretty close to the vest, but did discuss his game day visit to Tennessee for the South Carolina game. He seems to have pretty good relationships with the staff and will be one to keep an eye on.
