With Tennessee football's 2022 regular season in the books, I reviewed Pro Football Focus' snap count totals and player grades from the Vols' 12 games up to this point.

What a tough match. We blew them out in the first half but give Maryland credit they fought back into the game. Barnes will have lots of teaching notes after this game. Maryland consistently scored inside on our defense. One question I have where was Aidoo? James did not dress out again. We need him healthy. The big freshmen Awaka looks like he will be something special as he matures. Still a good team effort against a ranked team. Some things need to be addressed before we play the bigs in Arizona. I will wait on finding out why Jonas Aidoo was not dressed out and a update on James.

Tennessee has extended an offer to offensive lineman Ajani Cornelius (6-5, 315) from Rhode Island. He has over 20 D1 offers and another recruiting service ranks him the No. 8 overall player in the portal right now. He has at least two years of eligibility remaining.

Seventh-ranked Tennessee (8-1) is set for another big non-conference test against No. 13 Maryland (8-1) this afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Tip-off is slated for 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

Looks like Harper solved the big issue with Jackson. Glad that has been resolved. Jackson played like a top 5 draft choice today.

Gadson is planning on taking an OV to Tennessee in Jan.; date not set yet.
