Tennessee opens its 2024 season in 39 days.

Ryan Karl, who wore No. 39 for the Vols, accounted for 170 tackles, 14.5 TFLs, two interceptions and 12 pass break-ups in 49 games in his career.

Tennessee's wide receiving corps is in good shape with the return of Bru McCoy, Squirrel White and Dont'e Thornton Jr.

The Vols added experience in Chris Brazzell II, who should also make an impact.

The Vols receive another piece of the 2025 class as they just landed their first linebacker commit of the class in 3-star Christian Gass. Don't fret too much on his rating as I'm sure he will get a bump at some point.

Another big win over UGA as the Dawgs prioritized Gass as well.

There is one more target that is set to announce in the month of July but 3 other prospects could make announcements over the next week and a half before we even get to August, where there is another handful set to come off the board.

August is highlighted by the No. 1 OL in the 2025 cycle, David Sanders Jr. and a top QB prospect in the 2026 cycle, Faizon Brandon. Ironically, both are in North Carolina and less than an hour apart.

The Vols are in good shape with both of these elite players as well as the other names to watch, which would be Lagonza "Shaedy" Hayward, Onis Konanbanny, and Jadon Perlotte (UGA) who is on flip-watch at the moment.

The 2025 class could be sitting in a great place before the 2024 season begins. Will the Vols finish in the Top 10?

Committing on Aug. 3. Will be in Knoxville on July 27, Baton Rouge on July 19 and trying to figure out a trip to Tuscaloosa.
