Can Tennessee realistically sign 7-10 instate kids they actually want in 2023? Is there enough talent and that much legitimate interest to get to that number? Or are we looking at another year of signing 1 or 2 out of the top 20? Got any names you think actually favor Tennessee at this early stage?
Obviously recruiting this state has been horrid the last few years. It's to the point this year that it seems it should be impossible for it to be this inept, but obviously, it's possible.
The promise shown on the field didn't have any sort of impact on 2022 in-state guys. Will it impact 2023 guys? How much of an impact is it having that schools can still say the NCAA has not yet spoken and is still going to hammer the Vols?
