Just made some calls and watched his film. After talk to several people and checking out his film I'd expect his ranking to go up for sure. I don't know how high, but check out his film from his first scrimmage.
And then watch his tape from his spring stuff. No doubt he has some talent.
Christmas-Giles had to sit out last season as a transfer and is just now getting some notice. Credit Tennessee to getting out in front here.
Like many of you, when I was told of the offer I looked at his profile and kind of wondered what was up. But, after doing some digging this past hour and seeing his tape I understand a lot more. Definitely look for him to pick up more offers over the next few weeks and months. But, also, Tennessee got out in front on this one and the kid appreciates it. We are scheduled to talk tonight in depth for a story.
And since we're on the subject, while the Vols' defensive line recruiting hasn't been going as good as last several years, I'll be interested to see what names pop up over the next few weeks as guys begin their seasons. I think we could see a few more like this. Just something I'm thinking on this Monday afternoon.
