We haven't had a coach good at developing talent since Lane Kiffin. Coach Pruitt has several years coaching high school ball at different stops early in his career. As a high school coach, you can't examine tape of kids and recruit them. You coach up what you have as a hands on teacher. He was very successful doing this at his high school jobs. Gus Malzahn and Hugh Freeze were too early in their careers and you saw their production in the SEC. Dooley and Butch were sorely lacking in this area.
A seemingly subtle reason why I think Coach Pruitt will do well here
