A little counterintuitive, and obviously and without question you want him back.
But if he does come back he’s likely a good bit better skill wise than if he’d spent that time in a normal offseason program - NBA level workouts, etc.
If he does leave that clearly sucks for next season BUT it would mean that Barnes would have produced an NBA 1st round pick (AD ain’t going without a promise) at UT that would be a bigtime thing for him here, specifically, on the trail.
